Public Transportation
Green Line
Take the Green Line to Government Center. As you exit the station, 28 State Street is located across the plaza to the right of City Hall. You may enter through the rear of the building on the plaza across from One Washington Mall and then proceed downstairs to the Security Desk.
Orange/Red/Blue Lines
Take the Orange or Blue Lines to State Street (or take the Red Line to Downtown Crossing and transfer to the Orange Line – State Street is one stop toward Oak Grove). Follow the signs in the State Street Station for the State Street exit. You will emerge at the Old State House. 28 State Street is directly across State Street – enter on the Congress Street side.
Driving
From the West:
Mass Pike (I -90) Exit 25.
Take Exit 24B to I-93 North.
Take Exit 23, Government Center, stay in left lane and go to the end of the ramp.
Take a left at the traffic light and follow North Street to the end (Boston City Hall).
Take a left onto Congress Street and 28 State is the next building on your right.
28 State Street is on the corner of State and Congress (Citizens Bank)
From the South:
Take Route 93 North (Fitzgerald/Southeast Expressway).
Take Exit 23, Government Center, stay in left lane and go to the end of the ramp.
Take a left at the traffic light and follow North Street to the end (Boston City Hall).
Take a left onto Congress Street and 28 State is the next building on your right.

From the North:
Route 93S
From Route 93S proceed over Zakim Bridge into tunnel.
Take exit 24A, Government Center.
Follow signs for Aquarium/Financial District.
Take a right at the traffic light and follow North Street to the end (Boston City Hall).
Take a left onto Congress Street and 28 State is the next building on your right.

From Logan Airport:
Exit airport following signs for Ted Williams Tunnel.
Take Exit 24 to I-93 North.
Take Exit 23, Government Center, stay in left lane.
