Jeffrey N. Catalano

Jeffrey N. Catalano is a partner in the firm.  His practice consists of representing victims of catastrophic injuries in the areas of medical negligence, product liability, auto accident, class action, and other personal injury cases.  His practice has obtained numerous multi-million dollar results in cases statewide and nationally.  He also represents physicians in matters before the Board of Registration in Medicine. Mr. Catalano also specializes in medical negligence cases involving newborns diagnosed with kernicterus-brain damage from excessive jaundice.  He is a graduate of Boston College Law School, where he received the prestigious “Professional and Personal Achievement” Award.

Jeffrey Catalano has been invited to speak on a variety of topics related to trial strategy and medical legal issues for the Massachusetts Bar Association, Suffolk University Law School and on Fox & Friends on Fox News.  He testifies before the state legislature regarding patient rights and health care issues and helped create the new law improving disclosure following medical errors.  He has also published and lectured on topics related to trial and litigation strategy.

Mr. Catalano has served as an officer of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is on the Executive Committee for the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.  He is on the Board of Directors for the non-profit law firm Health Law Advocates, Inc., where his pro bono work includes patient advocacy and representing chronically ill and impoverished people.  He received a “Hero from the Field” award for his work to improve health care quality and patient rights.
