Hannah Black concentrates her practice on government investigations and criminal defense, including defending clients at trial and in pre-indictment government investigations. She also represents medical professionals and institutions in various health law matters.
Prior to joining Todd & Weld, Ms. Black was an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney's Office where she supervised staff attorneys and managed hundreds of criminal cases involving a variety of felony and misdemeanor charges, including domestic assault and battery, OUI, unlicensed possession of firearms, and distribution of Class A, B and D drugs, as well as sensitive investigations involving motor vehicle fatalities and sexual assaults. While in the DA’s Office, she tried cases in court, argued various motions, and advocated for victims of violent and property crimes.
Ms. Black obtained a Master of Social Work and has her license in Clinical Social Work.
