Widmaier M. Charles concentrates his litigation practice on complex business disputes and real estate matters. He represents clients in all phases of litigation and arbitration, including drafting pleadings, managing pre-trial discovery, handling motions, and arguing at trial. Mr. Charles also represents health care professionals in administrative law appeals.
Prior to joining Todd & Weld, Mr. Charles was a civil litigation attorney at a boutique Boston law firm where he focused on cases involving construction litigation, personal injury, and premises liability. Prior to private practice, he was a judicial law clerk at the Massachusetts Appeals Court, as well as an Assistant Attorney General at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.
Mr. Charles serves as a member of the Massachusetts Law Review Editorial Board. Prior to law school, he obtained his real estate broker license and worked in the commercial real estate industry.
