Pipeline Programs
Todd & Weld belongs to the Boston Lawyers Group, a consortium of law firms and other organizations working to advance diversity in Boston's legal community. The mission of the Boston Lawyers Group is to support the efforts of its member organizations to identify, recruit, advance, and retain attorneys of color. We participate in the Boston Lawyers Group 1L Diversity Clerkship Program, which places first-year law students with local firms and other legal organizations for a 10-week summer program. Participating students gain substantive legal experience, mentoring from Todd & Weld attorneys, and exposure to the Boston legal community. Our attorneys also volunteer to mentor participating students.
Leadership Positions
We are a firm member of the Women's Bar Association, and one of our partners was a founder and the first president of the WBA. Our associates have served in such positions as vice president of the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys, secretary of the of the Board of Trustees of the South Asian Bar Association of North America Foundation, co-chair of the Community Service Committee of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, and past president of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston.
