Gary O. Todd presented as part of a panel discussion on how Massachusetts Family Court judges treat employee equity compensation in divorce matters.
The presentation was part of the 33rd Annual Family Law Conference hosted by the Massachusetts Bar Association Oct. 25-26, 2024.
The panel delved into the nature of stock grants and their valuation complexities and uncertainties, and also discussed case law governing how equity-based compensation can be included in income for calculating support payments as part of a divorce.
