Jeff Catalano in MBA podcast discusses increasing transparency in med-mal matters

In a MassBar Beat podcast Jeffrey Catalano discusses how transparency in medical malpractice matters appears to be gaining traction with medical professionals and institutions over the traditional "deny and defend" approach.

Mr. Catalano, a medical malpractice attorney and patient-safety advocate, indicates that he is seeing a trend of doctors and hospitals embracing transparency, disclosure and even apologies following medical errors. In the Massachusetts Bar Association podcast, Mr. Catalano says that medical professionals are increasingly working more openly with patients to prevent future problems.

A former president of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Mr. Catalano concentrates his practice on representing victims of catastrophic injuries in medical negligence, construction accident, auto accident, food poisoning, product liability, and other personal injury cases.
