Jeffrey Catalano appointed to serve on board of directors of patient safety organization
Jeffrey N. Catalano has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of the Collaborative for Accountability and Improvement, an organization dedicated to improving patient safety through transparent and timely communication between medical professionals and patients following medical injuries.
A program of the University of Washington Medicine, the Collaborative facilitates and promotes effective responses to patient harm through the implementation of Communication and Resolution Programs.
Mr. Catalano, who focuses his practice on representing victims of catastrophic injuries, including those caused by medical negligence, has long been a patient safety advocate. He volunteers to work with physicians and hospitals as a member of the Massachusetts Alliance for Communication and Resolution Following Medical Injury (MACRMI), which seeks to improve transparency and compensation following medical errors.
