Julianna Zane chair of webinar addressing mental health examinations in custodial disputes

Julianna Zane is chair of a webinar that will address the nuances of mental health examinations when the mental condition of a party is at issue in a contested custody dispute.

The April 6 program – entitled “Exploring the Intricacies of Rule 35 Mental Health Examinations in Custodial Disputes” – will feature a panel discussion led by Ms. Zane from multiple perspectives, including family law attorneys seeking or opposing an examination, a judge assessing the appropriateness of an examination guided by the best interests of a child in custody disputes, and an expert who conducts mental health examinations.

The Family Law Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association is hosting the 4:30-6:00 p.m. webinar, which will be conducted on Zoom.

An experienced practitioner, Ms. Zane concentrates on family law matters, including divorce, prenuptial agreements, child custody, asset division, and related litigation.
