Saraa Basaria chosen as an Up and Coming Lawyer
Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has chosen Saraa Basaria as an Up and Coming Lawyer as part of its 2019 Excellence in the Law event.
Slated for May 2, 2019, the annual gala event celebrates excellence throughout the legal community by honoring individuals in six categories: Up & Coming Lawyers, Excellence in Firm Administration/Operations, Marketing, Paralegal Work, ADR, and Pro Bono.
Ms. Basaria concentrates her civil litigation practice on employment law, commercial disputes, and personal injury matters. She is a former public defender, having tried jury and bench trials, and argued substantive motions in court.
Ms. Basaria is a past president of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the South Asian Bar Association of North America (2016-2017). She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the South Asian Bar Association of North America Foundation.
She is a 2017 graduate of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Leadership Academy. Ms. Basaria serves as a member of the MBA's Young Lawyers Division's Board of Directors, and also as a member of the MBA's Diversity Task Force.
