Shayla Mombeleur to moderate program on ‘harm reduction’ approach to opioid epidemic
Shayla Mombeleur will be moderating a program on alternative tactics courts can deploy to address the opioid epidemic.
The panel presenters will discuss the “harm reduction” approach of providing educational and clinical resources to individuals in the court system because of substance abuse.
The Nov. 30 program is co-hosted by the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Medical Center, Bay State Community Services, and the National Institutes of Health HEAL Initiative.
Ms. Mombeleur concentrates her practice on government investigations and criminal defense. She defends clients during every stage of the criminal justice process, including trials, pre-trial motions, and plea bargaining.
