Shira Diner editor of updated edition of MA District Court Criminal Defense Manual
The revised edition of the Massachusetts District Court Criminal Defense Manual recently published by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education was edited by Shira M. Diner, Director of Associate Development and Recruitment at Todd & Weld.
The newly published 5th edition of the Manual is a resource for attorneys who represent individuals facing criminal charges in the Massachusetts District Court and Boston Municipal Court systems. The Manual's 18 chapters include discussions on client relations, arraignment and bail, pretrial matters, and trial advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Diner was a public defender with the Committee for Public Counsel Services for 17 years, including serving as supervising attorney in the criminal defense training unit. She is a member of the Massachusetts Sentencing Commission and serves on the board of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
