Tara Dunn chosen as an Up and Coming Lawyer
Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has chosen Tara Dunn as an Up and Coming Lawyer as part of its 2021 Excellence in the Law event.
Slated for May 13, 2021, the virtual event will celebrate excellence throughout the legal community by honoring individuals in five categories: Up & Coming Lawyers, Excellence in Firm Administration/Operations, Marketing, Paralegal Work, and Pro Bono.
Ms. Dunn joins prior Todd & Weld Up and Coming honorees, Saraa Basaria (2019) and Michael DiStefano (2018).
Ms. Dunn concentrates her practice on complex civil litigation matters, including commercial and employment law, as well as criminal defense matters.
An active participant in bar-related organizations, she serves as Vice President of the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys, Trustee of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors of the Civil Rights Restorative Justice Project, and a member of the Board of Directors of Prisoners’ Legal Services of Massachusetts.
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Ms. Dunn serves in the Air Force Reserve Command at Westover Air Reserve Base in Massachusetts and is awaiting training to become a Judge Advocate General. She previously served on active duty in the Space Command of the U.S. Air Force.
