Tyler Chapman to lead seminar on effective use of experts in litigation
Tyler E. Chapman will moderate a seminar on best practices for using experts effectively at every stage of litigation to bolster trial strategy and to assist jurors in understanding complicated issues.
The program – entitled "Selecting, Protecting and Dethroning Experts" – will offer a guide on using expert witnesses to buttress a case, as well as to undermine testimony of an opposing expert.
Hosted by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, the Nov. 9 seminar will provide insights on the law of expert testimony, e-discovery issues, and pre-trial discovery and depositions of experts.
Mr. Chapman, a partner at Todd & Weld, is an experienced trial lawyer with a focus on commercial and real estate-related litigation.
