Widmaier Charles joins Todd & Weld as an associate
Widmaier M. Charles has joined Todd & Weld LLP as an associate and will concentrate his practice on complex civil litigation, including business and real estate litigation.
Mr. Charles represents clients through all stages of litigation and arbitration proceedings, including pleadings, discovery, substantive motions, settlement negotiations, and court appearances for trial.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Charles was a civil litigation attorney at a boutique Boston law firm where he focused on cases involving construction litigation, personal injury, and premises liability. Prior to private practice, he was a judicial law clerk at the Massachusetts Appeals Court, as well as an Assistant Attorney General at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.
Mr. Charles serves as a member of the Massachusetts Law Review Editorial Board and is a recent graduate of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Leadership Academy.
He obtained his law degree from New England Law | Boston, and his undergraduate degree from Babson College. Prior to law school, he obtained his real estate broker license and worked in the commercial real estate industry.
