Nick Carter, Luci Passanisi obtain $325K employment retaliation, age bias settlement

Nick Carter and Luci Passanisi obtained a $325,000 settlement on behalf of an employee asserting he was fired in retaliation for reporting to management his concerns of sexual harassment by co-workers toward other employees.

The firm’s client was a former head of security of a Massachusetts company.  He had received positive feedback and performance reviews until he raised concerns that his co-workers were being harassed.

The firm’s client was discouraged from putting his concerns in writing, and, after raising those concerns, his employer started a secret, written log documenting purported performance deficiencies.

The client was ultimately terminated after reporting those concerns and replaced by younger, less qualified employees. The client was 63 at the time of his termination and unable to secure employment in his field.
